Decorating for fall with natural elements is just …well, natural! Hi sweet friends! It’s Robin from All Things Heart and Home back with some fall inspiration! The other day when I was visiting my friends at Woodstock Furniture Outlet I met their visual merchandiser Diane. She told me about some of her plans for fall vignettes at the store. Cotton Branches were one of the elements she using this autumn…I love it!
Cotton is big business in Georgia and has been since the late 18th century. My mama told me she remembered picking cotton with her grandma, it’s hard for this city girl to imagine, Mama picking cotton.
But it’s not hard to imagine Mama decorating with cotton branches, if she were still here she’d love the idea of decorating for fall with natural elements…especially cotton branches.
Isn’t it wonderful how the rustic feel of the branches and the clean lines of the candles and vases are perfection in this rainy window…
Look at how many natural elements are in this rustic wedding tablescape…
As many elements as the table above had, I love this simple cylinder with a cotton branch…
And as beautiful as the cotton branch is in a glass cylinder, an enamel pitcher seems a more suitable vessel…
This little centerpiece from Southern Living is perfect for adding a little fall to your space…
And how ever-so-lovely is this…chalkboard label & twine on a galvanized French flower bucket full of gorgeous cotton branches…
What’s your favorite natural element to use in your fall decorating? In the next couple of weeks I’m going to be looking at some other natural elements for fall decorating!
Sending love my sweet friends
